Saturday 2nd July, 10am to 5pm
Join us for Family Saturday as we fill the museum with fun for all ages! There’ll be fascinating family-friendly tours and spellbinding storytime for under 10s every hour as well as the chance to get creative with a drop-in art activity to enjoy together in the Tudor Hall. You’ll also be able to explore everything the museum has to offer, from the fantastic dressing-up area to amazing interactives and terrific trivia to wow friends and family with.
Plus, from 3pm to 5pm, our Quiet Hour session is back, helping children and young people with autism or additional requirements to enjoy the museum. Sound effects are turned off, lights are turned up a little, a quiet space is available and there are things to touch and do.
July’s Family Saturday theme is Ceramic Spies! Amazing 17th century playwright and spy Aphra Behn is being immortalised in clay and you can help choose which statue is made! Create your own clay masterpieces to take home and meet Aphra Behn herself in fantastic, fun performances throughout the day.
FREE entry for Saturday 2nd July only!
