Created in collaboration with Brew Projects, Open Doors, and local people with Polish heritage, the exhibition explores Poland’s strong connections to Newark and Sherwood, celebrating stories from the past alongside contemporary life today. Through objects, displays, and personal stories, visitors can explore moments of history, remarkable people and innovations, and the traditions that continue to shape Polish culture.

Highlights include traditional crafts and entertainment, alongside personal items loaned by community members and selected objects from the National Civil War Centre – Newark Museum collections, offering familiar and surprising insights into Polish life.
