Discover history in a whole new way - with LEGO®!

This spring, turn your visit to the National Civil War Centre and Newark Town Hall Museum and Art Gallery, into an adventure with our new LEGO® Trail, for a chance to WIN a LEGO® Natural History Museum set! A fun and interactive experience designed for families, young explorers, and LEGO® fans of all ages.

Pick up a trail sheet when you arrive and set off through the galleries to search for LEGO® Minifigures hiding among our exhibits. Each character represents a real person or story from Newark’s past - can you find them all?

Along the way, you’ll explore immersive galleries, discover fascinating artefacts, and uncover the stories behind Newark, and one of the most dramatic periods in British history.

How the LEGO® Trail works:

• Pick up a free trail sheet from either the National Civil War Centre or Newark Town Hall Museum and Art Gallery.
• Follow the clues and explore both venues at your own pace.
• Search for LEGO® Minifigures hidden around each site.
• Learn about Newark’s Civil War story and local heritage as you go.
• Complete the trail from at least one venue and submit your sheet for a chance to WIN a LEGO® Natural History Museum set! With more prizes also available!

The trail and entry to the Centre is free for Newark and Sherwood residents!

The wonderful family friendly awarded Café Nineteen20 is also open for delicious food, drinks and homemade cakes, so it’s the perfect family fun day out!
