Welcome to Mini Museum!

Calling all little explorers! Mini Museum is our weekly, playful session created especially for families with children under 5. These relaxed sessions introduce young children to the museum through discovery, creativity and fun, all in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Each week features a different theme inspired by the museum’s collections and stories, with simple activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination.

What Happens at Mini Museum?

Every Mini Museum session offers a flexible mix of engaging activities, which may include:

  • Storytime adventures inspired by history and imagination
  • Gallery exploration at a child‑friendly pace
  • Playtime in the historic Tudor Hall
  • Creative and sensory activities linked to the weekly theme

Families are encouraged to take part at their own pace — there’s no pressure to join in with everything.
