LEGO Minifigure Trail Competition Promotion Terms and Conditions

By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and to all rules and guidelines applicable to the use of Facebook including the rules located at https://www.facebook.com/terms.php

The Promoter of this prize draw is The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum, 14 Appleton Gate, Newark-on-Trent, NG24 1JY.

The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum is offering those who enter this promotion a chance to win a LEGO set. To enter this prize draw, entrants complete their trail sheet in full, including their contact details, and give it in at either the National Civil War Centre or Newark Town Hall Museum and Art Gallery. One winner will be selected from those who complete their trail sheet at either venue. Deadline for entries is Saturday 18th April 2026.

Entrants must be UK residents, aged 16 years or under. Entry forms must be signed by a parent/guardian.

This promotion is not open to any employees of the National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum or any of their affiliate companies, their families, agents, or anyone else connected with this prize draw.

One entry allowed per person. Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or late entries will not be accepted.

No purchase is necessary to enter this promotion.

The promotion is open to entries from Saturday 14th February 2026 to Saturday 18th April 2026.

The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered.

The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, the National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this promotion without prior notice.

The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the promotion period by using software that produces random results.

The winner will be notified within three working days of the draw via email. The draw will take place on Monday 20th April. If a winner fails to respond within five working days of this notification (by Saturday 25h April 2026), a redraw will take place from the remaining valid entries to select a new winner. If the winner declines the prize or fails to respond within the required period, they forfeit any right to the prize.

Unless the winner notifies us otherwise in writing within a week of being informed that they have won, The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum reserve the right to use and feature the names of the prize draw winner for publicity purposes and the winner agrees that they will participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by the Promoter or its agencies.

The first name and county of residence of the winner will be made available on request to anyone sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to the Promoter at the address set out above within 28 days of the closing date of promotion.

The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum does not accept responsibility for network, computer or software failures of any kind and has no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.

The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum reserves the right to discount any inappropriate or offensive entries and to disqualify any entries if the Promoter, at its sole discretion, believes that there has been an attempt to manipulate or tamper with the operation of the promotion (including, without limitation, be setting up multiple email accounts in order to submit multiple entries).

The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum does not accept any responsibility for any infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights caused by entrants entering this prize draw.

The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum will only use an entrant’s contact details for the purposes which have been outlined, and to which they have consented, on the entry form. Data supplied will be used and stored in accordance with our Privacy Notice

Entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of The National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. No correspondence will be entered into in respect of the Promoter’s decisions.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, including the seeking of all injunctive or ancillary relief actions
