Join us throughout the year for an exciting programme of talks, performances and special events exploring history, heritage, folklore, music and culture. From fascinating insights into the British Civil Wars and medieval medicine to live historical music, true crime evenings, folklore, dance and local history, our talks programme brings the past to life through expert speakers and engaging performers.

Whether you're a lifelong history enthusiast or simply curious to discover something new, there's something for everyone. Most events include opportunities to hear from leading historians, researchers, performers and subject specialists, while our relaxed and welcoming atmosphere makes these evenings perfect for both seasoned enthusiasts and first-time visitors.

All talks take place at the National Civil War Centre unless otherwise stated.
