About This Family Saturday EXTRA!

Family Saturday EXTRA! is an enhanced version of our regular Family Saturdays, offering all the familiar hands‑on family activities alongside additional themed experiences.

On Saturday 3 October, families are invited to take part in our Festival of Creativity — a day focused on making, imagination and creative exploration across the museum. Alongside the usual Family Saturday activities, visitors can expect expanded creative opportunities designed to celebrate creativity in all its forms.

During this Family Saturday EXTRA!, families will be able to enjoy:

  • All the much‑loved Family Saturday favourites
  • Additional creative activities linked to the Festival of Creativity
