Family Saturdays are lively, drop‑in activity days packed with opportunities for families to explore history together. Each month offers a different theme, bringing the museum to life through hands‑on activities, playful challenges and creative making inspired by real objects, stories and places.
Rather than following a set programme, families are encouraged to roam, create, play and discover at their own pace — making each visit unique.

Many families choose to explore the museum’s interactive galleries or enjoy a drink, cake or lunch in Café Nineteen20. Families with younger children may also enjoy Mini Museum, our weekly term‑time sessions designed especially for under 5s.
